Biden’s Approval Rating No Longer Treading Water

**A CNN Poll Conducted by SSRS from July 28 to July 31 found the President’s approval rating is now 38%, up four percentage points from the CNN Poll conducted in mid-July.**

The new CNN Poll was conducted by SSRS between July 28 and July 31 among a random national sample of 1,002 adults reached on landlines or cell phones. The results for the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.

According to Gallup, Biden’s approval rating has not been above 40% since May 28.

Quinnipiac University recently put Biden’s approval rating at 33%.

A Civiqs survey had Biden at 36%.

A Pew Research Center poll had Biden at 37%.

The CNN Poll also found that 63% of Americans believe Biden is not mentally fit to be president, up from 57% in the mid-July CNN Poll.

The poll also found that 78% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track, up from 72% in the mid-July CNN Poll.

Biden’s approval rating has been underwater since mid-May, shortly after the chaotic US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The President’s approval ratings have been dragged down by a number of factors, including the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and rising inflation.

The CNN Poll is the latest in a series of surveys that have shown Biden’s approval rating remains low.

The President’s approval rating is likely to remain a key issue in the upcoming midterm elections, as Republicans seek to take control of the House and Senate.

The CNN Poll also found that 56% of Americans disapprove of the job Biden is doing as president, down three percentage points from the mid-July CNN Poll.

A majority of Americans also disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy, with 67% disapproving and 32% approving.

Biden’s approval rating is also underwater on a number of other issues, including his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, his handling of the war in Ukraine, and his handling of immigration.
