Amber Fenner, Licensing Manager at French Connection, said of the new partnership: “Licensing is an integral part of our business. To partner with an industry innovator whose ethos and quality align with ours is invaluable to bringing the consumer the best possible product at key price points.”
The first collection will be in-store for SS23 and offer various styles with retail prices ranging between £80 and £120.
Sante + Wade describes itself as a “disruptive” footwear specialist, and is also one that’s size-inclusive. Its products are all made in Portugal.
French Connection has gone through major changes in recent periods following its sale after several years of trying to turn around the business.
It was sold late last year for £29 million to Newcastle-based businessman Apinder Singh Ghura and de-listed from the London Stock Exchange.
And since then it has announced a number of new initiatives, including becoming the first major UK brand to operate its own dedicated standalone rental operation, directly serving its customers from its existing site in a deal with rental specialist Hirestreet.
