Stetson opens Seven Dials UK flagship
Heritage American hat brand Stetson has opened its previously-flagged first UK store in London, with the new location becoming a “significant milestone” for the famous label.
The 1,165 sq ft store is on Shaftesbury Capital-operated Neal Street in Seven Dials
It’s also a big tourists area, which is likely to have been key in the decision to open there.
While best known for its cowboy hats, the new store offers “an eclectic range” of the brand’s signature styles including looks from country-style outdoor headwear to streetwear pieces.
The retailer said Stetson’s Seven Dials UK flagship is “a key moment in Stetson’s expansion” and significantly add to the brand’s pan-European presence.
Sebastian Boekholt, Managing Director FWS/Stetson Europe, said of Wednesday’s official opening: “The flagship store will help us to grow this strategically important market. Home to a curated range of global brands and independent stores, and well-positioned in the heart of the West End, Seven Dials was the obvious location of choice for us, and we’re thrilled to have finally opened here.”
Mark Harris, Stetson London Director (Hat Retail), added: “The initial reaction from customers has been incredible. The space also includes a stunning showroom for our wholesale customers”.
