Thanks to Kristin Davis on the set of And Just Like That…, we now know what it would be like if Dolly Levi from the musical Hello, Dolly! were a dominatrix with an eye for color. In trying times like these, we need Kim Cattrall to return as Samantha Jones more than ever.
On Tuesday, October 11, Davis, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the Sex and the City revival, was spotted on the New York City set of the HBO Max series wearing what one might call a whole lot of look (a technical term). Davis wore a hot pink pleated blazer over a black leather corset. She wore these over a long skirt with blue, black, pink, an green stripes and some bustling in the back.
To make the look even more Gilded Age, she wore a black top hat with a black net veil. To make the look even more dominatrix, she added black leather gloves and shiny leather boots with extremely high heels and platforms, and carried a whip.

We’ve already seen some of the looks from the set of the show’s second season, including a Carrie Bradshaw look featuring a pigeon and one that took the concept of matchy-matchy to the next level (a completely out-of-character choice for Carrie). Charlotte accompanied Carrie on her pigeon adventure wearing a black dress with a silky pink bow.
Without any context for Charlotte’s wacky costume, what we can deduce is that in season two of And Just Like That…, Charlotte is moonlighting as a dominatrix while starring in a production of Hello, Dolly on Broadway. In the photos, Kristin Davis appears shocked while speaking on the phone, so maybe she just got a call that Lea Michele is replacing her in the production?
