Jennifer Garner Does Bombshell Glam in a Sparkly Strapless LBD

Jennifer Garner put an uptown spin on the little black dress for a recent talk show appearance, and she’s truly glowing.

Visiting New York City for a taping of The Late Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the 13 Going on 30 star wore a simple, strapless, below-the-knee column cocktail dress of black fabric covered in beads or studs. Considering that Garner is one of the more modest A-listers, this is basically her version of club gear.

Aside from a couple of rings and simple diamond loops for her ears, she ditched accessories, opting for plain black stilettos and No Coat, No Purse (that’s how you know you’ve made it, right? When someone else carries literally all your stuff). With her bob tousled to one side and a bit of a smoky eye, this look on Jen is truly…so hot.

No shade at all, but Garner almost always opts for something classy and, by Hollywood standards at least, conservative. She had a Sexy Era in her Alias days, but check out this roundup of her most “daring” looks. They are all very beautiful and very normal. So when I say this is the sparkliest I’ve seen her in a minute, I mean it.

Side note, a decade ago I worked at the SoulCycle in Santa Monica, and Jennifer Garner came in and asked me for a water bottle and I was like Oh, I get it, you are lit from within, you politely asked J.J. Abrams to make you a star one day and he did because you are a glowing beacon and no one can say no to you. And then I got her a bottle of water!
