Priyanka Chopra Has the Freshest Take on the Spring Boots Trend

From Rihanna’s Amina Muaddi thigh-highs to Kendall Jenner’s beloved The Row stilettos, statement boots have become a style hero this spring. Now Priyanka Chopra Jonas has followed suit, stepping out in a bright white pair of Piferi knee-highs in New York on May 4. Priyanka’s chosen shade brought added freshness to an otherwise muted look: gray separates from Valentino’s pre-fall 2023 collection, comprised a soft jumper with embellished cuffs and a midi-skirt.

And spring boots are not the first shoe trend to have turned the actor’s head this season: Chopra Jonas is also on board with the sensible pumps revival, as demonstrated by her appearance at the London premiere of her new show Citadel in April, wearing Christian Louboutin’s classic So Kate heels. She reached for the same pumps (which are approved by Kates Moss and Middleton) again for an appearance on Good Morning America, teaming them with a soft pink midi-dress.

It’s just the latest in a stream of looks from Chopra Jonas who, since wearing custom Valentino at the Met Gala, has been photographed in a bespoke denim gown by Harris Reed for Nina Ricci (at a screening), a baby pink Sportmax dress for date night with her husband, Nick Jonas, and the aforementioned gray Valentino separates.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has typically gravitated toward bold shades for the red carpet, but her recent press appearances have been pared back by comparison. In the past she’s favoured red, green, and turquoise, and she’s also been a staunch champion of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s famed PP pink. But her recent style shift proves she’s not afraid to experiment.
