Jennifer Coolidge has some competition.
On October 28, Ariana Grande posted several videos of her and her former Victorious costar Elizabeth Gillies reenacting scenes from the iconic comedy Best in Show, in which Coolidge starred as trophy wife Sherri Ann Cabot. The shot-for-shot takes nail every detail, from wardrobe to set design to impeccable comedic timing.
In case you forgot, Grande is not only a musical genius; she’s also incredibly gifted at impressions, nailing Coolidge as well as characters played by Eugene Levy and Linda Kash. Of course, she had some help from prosthetics.
“Happy Halloween. We did this in May,” Grande captioned the post.

Gillies, an equally gifted impressionist, delivered spot-on imitations of the characters played by Jane Lynch, Catherine O’Hara, and Larry Miller.
The comments section was filled with well-deserved praise for the performance, including calls for a remake of Best in Show starring Grande and Gillies in every role. (It was me, I requested the remake.)
It’s still unclear why the two stars produced such an elaborate recreation of the 2000 movie, especially if it was filmed almost six months ago. Perhaps it was a scrapped project?
Coolidge has yet to weigh in on Ariana Grande’s breathy impression, but it’s probably only a matter of time. Reminder: The two collaborated on Grande’s “Thank U, Next” video in 2019, with Coolidge reprising her Legally Blonde role as the manicurist Paulette.
If not a remake, maybe we can get a Best in Show sequel with Grande as Coolidge’s mini-me daughter? Just spitballing here…
