Lindsay Lohan just celebrated her engagement with fiancé Bader Shammas, four months after accepting his proposal late last year. To commemorate the occasion, the Parent Trap actor kept it simple in a little black dress with a big smile. In a recent Instagram post, the 35-year-old kept close to her future husband while a two-tiered cake was lit with sparklers.
Her signature red hair is always a highlight when it comes to Lohan’s style, and it was a focal point at her engagement party on March 28. Her hair was lightly curled at the end and glossy as it proved that the red-hair trend is alive and well—especially for any natural gingers out there.

The Mean Girls actor has been dating the financer since 2019 after Lohan moved to Dubai a few years prior. In 2021 she posted a series of images of the two with a rather huge diamond on display on Lohan’s finger announcing their engagement. She kept the comments off this particular post but wrote a caption announcing how in love she was. “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love,” she wrote, followed by a ring emoji.

Lindsay Lohan has been keeping it pretty low-key over the past few years, but she has resurfaced with a roster of new movies with Lifetime and upcoming flics with Netflix. When it comes to her relationship, Lohan manifested in an interview with Howard Stern exactly what type of person she wants to be with. In the interview, she said, “I want to date a guy that’s a businessman—doesn’t have Instagram, doesn’t have social media, and is completely off the grid in terms of that kind of stuff.” The Bronx-born actor knows what she wants and she got it with Shammas, who serves as the Assistant VP at a wealth management company and has a limited social media presence with his private account.
During the engagement party, the two celebrated with authentic Lebanese food and a cake that honored the official date they got engaged: 11.11.21.
