The return of Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is so close. So close that star Rachel Brosnahan made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the fourth season (it premieres February 18 on Amazon).
For the appearance, Brosnahan went for a head-to-toe boho-inspired look. She wore a bright blue and black lace-up tunic-style blouse that bared some midriff with a matching maxi skirt.She styled the animal-like-print set with a small blue bag and blue suede pointy-toe heels with stylish ankle straps. Brosnahan wore her hair down in loose waves, with blunt bangs framing her face. You can check out the full look, below.
In the interview with Kimmel, Brosnahan told the story about the time she fished a dead rat out of her toilet. “There’s a lot of urban myths about New York,” she said. “Well, the one that I recently discovered is not an urban myth, Jimmy, is that rodents can climb up through the pipework.” She then said that she found out there was a dead rat in her toilet after a friend swung by her apartment and saw it. Brosnahan used “improvised rat chopsticks” to fish the rat out of her toilet.
Rachel Brosnahan also talked about season four of Maisel. “When we came back, the pace was kind off of,” she said of adjusting to the show’s rapid dialogue after being off for so long. “But eventually, we caught up.”
The fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which will air over four weeks, is set in 1960. “It’s 1960 and change is in the air,” reads a Prime Video description. “Looking to hone her act, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom. But her commitment to her craft—and the places it takes her—creates a rift between her and the family and friends around her.”
