Rihanna’s latest Savage x Fenty drop makes so much sense that I’m actually a little embarrassed to say I didn’t see it coming: On August 8, the billionaire recording artist introduced a line of maternity lingerie, sharing the news with a sweet photo shoot posted to Instagram in which she breastfeeds her one-year-old son, RZA.
Rihanna, who is currently pregnant with baby number two, also debuted some blunt, choppy bangs for the campaign. In the photos she wears a black breastfeeding bra, gold rings, and minimal makeup. Baby RZA wore black and gray shorts with, naturally, a Savage x Fenty logo print. The shoot was posted on the official Savage x Fenty Instagram account, and the comments from moms and moms-to-be prove the new line is bound to be a hit.
Rihanna shares her son RZA Athelston Mayers with A$AP Rocky, who may or may not be her husband. During a performance at the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival in June, he gave Rihanna, who was in the audience, a shout-out. “I’d like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the mother-fucking building,” he said, per Page Six. In July, Rocky added fuel to the rumor fire with the release of a new song, “Riot,” which contained the lyrics “My wife is erotic, I’m smokin’ exotic (Woo, woo) / My whip is exotic, my crib is a cottage (Woo, woo, woo).”
