It looks as if Selena Gomez may have been raiding the wardrobe of Belle from Beauty and the Beast lately, and I’m not mad at it.
In an Instagram story posted on August 21, the Only Murders in the Building star posed in a cornflower blue floral dress, proving that the era of ultrafeminine summer aesthetic is not yet over. Gomez’s dress is maxi length and sleeveless, with a ruched lace-up bodice and ruffled shoulder straps.
The actor and pop star really leaned into the “little town, little quiet village,” vibes with this look, wearing her hair in a French-braided updo and adding a pair of black-and-white round-toe shoes. She even held out her skirt with her fingers for emphasis. Per her stylist, Erin Walsh, who posted the same pic to her own IG, Gomez’s dress is by the brand Doen, her shoes are Vivaia, and her delicate gold necklaces are from Melinda Maria.
