Meghan Markle likely didn’t tell anyone they made a big mistake (huge!), but she did have another Pretty Woman moment over the weekend.
On Sunday, May 22, the Duchess of Sussex made an appearance in support of husband Prince Harry at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club. And Meghan Markle wore an outfit for the sporting event that has similar vibes as the brown polka-dot dress and hat that Julia Roberts wears in 1989’s Pretty Woman, also to a polo match.
For her husband’s event, Meghan Markle wore a black long-sleeve polka-dot blouse paired with a pair of sophisticated long white and high-waist shorts from Khaite. Markle paired the look with black heels from Aquazurra, a belt, sunglasses, and, of course, a big black hat to protect her from the sun.

At the event, Markle was spotted kissing Prince Harry, which is normal for PDA-prone couples like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker (maybe arguably too normal for those lovebirds). However, such public displays of affections are more rare for royals. In fact, the couple made headlines when they shared an intimate kiss at one of Prince Harry’s polo matches back in 2018.
